Whoooooo loves ya baby

I have been making this card for almost a week where I had to keep leaving it to let the glitter dry. Unfortunately I really cant get a good photo of it this is the best of a dozen or so that I took, so your just gonna have to believe me when I say it looks better IRL.

This is one of the digi images by Nana Vic and I soo love that predatory look on the male owls face.

I printed the image onto printable acetate and then used  every colour of glitter I possess. And yes I managed to get glitter everywhere even the cats are walking around glittering at the moment lol.

Im going to enter this into

Candy Update

Just added a few bits to Candy!!!!!! Dont for get to leave a comment on candy post at top of page

Cowgirl Up Challenge

Its time for a new challenge at Cowgirls Sunday Stampen Challenge and this week we have a gorgeous sketch from the talented Andrea for you to follow. We would also like you to use the Colours Turquoise and Pink or Red.

This week are being sponsored by Prairie Fairy Designs and I got this adorable image to play with.

I have used Turquoise and Pink matting card from DCWV, a Sissiz folder for the text, swirl was cut in my cuttlebug.

I coloured the fairy with copics and used Cosmic Shimmer sparkle paint in Angel Red for her wings and Liquid Pearls White Opal for the Cream on the Coffee, which when it was still wet I swirled with a stick. I coloured the cup twice and cut one out added glossy accents to the it and attached with silicone to get a real three D effect. Flowers are from Wild Orchid and Pearls I got at Ally Pally.

I hope you will join in with our challenge this week as we have a great prize for the winner. A choice of 5 images from Prairie Fairy and 2 from CJ a guest DT for the month of August and the winner banner to display on your blog.

You dont have to use a Cowgirl image, although we would love it if you do. If you havent got any yet pop on over and check them out Here

Nana Vic

Do you ever have one of those days when it doesnt matter what you do it dopesnt go right? (and just to prove a point I am going to leave the typo I have just noticed cause it does kinda sum me up. LOL.

Well I have had one of those days today! I've dropped things, spilt things and lost things. But after a lot of frustration I did finally manage to make my first official DT card using one of Nana Vic's new digis.

This is called Adoption and comes with some gorgeous sentiments for adoptive and foster parents. There is also a boys version and they can be found at Nana Vic's Digitals

I coloured the image with Copics the papers are Forever Friends from Docrafts. The sketch is from Creatalicious Challenges. Not too sure if it shows in the piccie but there is faux pas stitching on the card in sakura glitter pen.
I used the rest of the papers inside and one of Nana Vic's sentiments which I think is just perfect and can be used for so many occassions. I took the little rag doll from the image and once I had enlarged it I copied it and flipped the image for the inside.

Make It Crafty meets Seraphina

I have been playing with this card for a few days now and finally finished it sorry photos are not too great today, I think my camera is dying!

The fairy house is from Zoe at Make It Crafty and the mice are Seraphina form the digi image disc. By the way Zoe has some freebie scenes on her blog at the moment.

Not sure if you can see but I have added stickles for the bubbles the mouse on the boot is blowing and some glaze for water coming out of the watering can.

I coloured the images with Derwent pencils and gamsol for a change.
