Tweet Street, Nana Vic DT

Wow it seems like forever since I have made a card and blogged.
The past few weeks have been a bit up and down, we got infested with Moths that decided my axminster was real tasty!!!!!! Of course they had to eat the area near my craft cupboard, which even I will admit is huge and very very full! So after having the Grandson for the weekend and really neeeeeding to recover we spent Bank Holiday Monday emptying my craft stuff so we could get to the carpet underneath to throw it away.

But things looked up and I went to the Graphicus Paradise Retreat met up with some really great people and had an absolute blast - its amazing how 6 complete strangers can get together and have such a great time. We didnt stop talking and laughing the whole weekend. But what goes up must come down and whilst I was there, the house got burgaled!!!!!!!!!!

Then this week my youngest Son who had only just started a new job after being made redundant months ago, his new company went into administration, hopefully though it looks like theya re going to be taken over and will possibly keep him on so keep your fingers crossed.

But oh so much worse than anything else, I have a cold but Hubby has MAN FLU. Not too sure if he will survive or whether I will put him out of his misery lol.

Anyways to my card. This image is called Tweet Street and is by the uber talented Nana Vic which you can get Here
I coloured the image three times in Copics and decoupaged it and made the background papers using a new resistance technique for me. some of the leaves came out real well others not so good, but in all honesty is probably the wrong type of stamp for this technique.
I'm going to enter this into the following challenges
Truly Scrumptious Sketch and Get Knotted
Charisma Cardz Try something new
Delightful Sketches Ribbons and colour recipe
