Pink and Grey, challenge 25

Wow I did not think I was going to get a card made for the Stampin for the Weekend> challenge and it is a colour combo this week that I love Pink and Grey. I decided to go all girly which is so out of my comfort zone it is unreal. But I saw these cute images on DawnyP's blog and thought I had to give them a go. She is one of the Frillie Millies from Pink Petticoat.

I have coloured her with Copics choosing the colours was dead easy LOL. I have added glamour dust to her skirt and hairpiece.

The sketch is from Creative Card Crew and fitted in lovely with the image.
The papers are downloads from Funky Faries, flowers are from stash and I have added some shimmerz to them.

The photo is not very clear as I have printed everything onto pearlescent paper I love the shimmer effect that you get IRL but tends to play havoc with my camera.

Days Gone By, Week 14

The theme at Stampin for the Weekend is Days Gone By and they want to see your card distressed or a fab new description vintage-ized.
Well I so had to use one of the new Elizabeth Bell stamps that are exclusive to SCACD the one I chose is Susan.
I coloured her with copics and mounted her on pearlescent paper which I cut with my nesties. The papers are from K & Company Classic K stack. I distressed the edges of the papers with scissors and used Faded Jeans distress inks on them.
The flowers are Petaloo and the roses are from my stash. I coloured the flowers with Light Candle Shimmerz which I received from the lovely Claudia Rosa 'thanks sweetie' I havent used Shimmerz before and I just love the effect. Gonna have to get me some more colours.

I am also entering this in the
Allsorts Challenge which is 'In an English Country Garden' this week.

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to check out my candy.

Masking and Challenge 23

The challenge at Stamping for the Weekend http://stampinfortheweekend.blogspot.com/ this week is masking with two or more stamps. I thought this would be a good opportunity to get out my adorable Lumas Thorn Elves and some of the background stamps I had got at Ali Pali and not used.
Only problem was I couldn't make up my mind which elf to use so I had to use all of them.
I started off with Egbert and put him with these toadstool houses I also include some toadstools and tall flowery things.
For Elvin I masked him with a frame woodland stamp and for Trump who is my favourite I used a mystical tree which I added leaves to and toadstools.
I have coloured all the images in copics, the challenge at Copic Colour http://copicscolourchallenge.blogspot.com/ this week is to use R35 Coral, YG63 Pea Green and YR04 Chrome Orange which I have used in all of the scenes. I haved stickles and Sakura glitter pen to the piccies.
The patterned papers are all from Bearly Mine Designer Extreme Vol 1 or 2. Leaves are punched using L-Em punches and flowers are from Petaloo. Mesh is from Nikki and ribbon was from Donna.

Challenge 2, and Tangled up in Blue

I wasn't to happy with this card when I started, but I thnk it has turned out better than I thought it would.
I've managed to fit this card into two challenges, The challenge for Stampin for the Weekend http://stampinfortheweekend.blogspot.com/ is song titles, I have chosen Tangled Up In Blue and I have followed the sketch at Crafters Companion. http://itsacrafterscompanion.blogspot.com/
The stamps are all from the Cute Companions set Let it Snow. Which I have coloured in Copic's. I have added Sakura glitter pens to the clothes and the snowman. All the papers are from stash I have used some of the icicle stamps and embossed them with flourescent embossing powder, which IRL looks quite good. I used a punch for the other icicles and embossed some of them as well and added some gems to the ones on the front.
Shapes are from nesties and punches.
Thanks for looking.
Beccy.

Chocolate an strawberries, buttons and Bows

The challenge this week for Stampin for the Weekend is strawberries and Chocolate - how can anyone resist. I used another of those cute little Bildmalarna stamps for this one that I got from Nikki's fab shop Bunny-Zoe's Crafts.
I have coloured her with Copic's the papers are from Basic Grey.
I have added some bows and a button so I am also going to enter this into this weeks Next Level Challenge.
Of now to get ready for work, have a day giving away Trading Standards Freebies at the local shopping centre so I think it is going to be a busy tiring day. And of course after some alright weather where I have been stuck in the office I'm going to be outside in the rain today.
Hope you all have a great day whatever your up to.

Double or Nothing Donna's Sketch

There is a choice of sketches at Stampin for the weekend this week. I have chosen to do Donna's sketch to start with, hopefully I will have time to do Kimmi's aswell.
The papers are all downloads which I got today from Funky Faries, they are from the distressed sets not being too sure what I was going to do today I just randomly chose a colour and then printed out al the various papers in that colour. This is what I ended up with and because the colour is so muted I have used a WOJ stamp, pregnant willow, which I stamped and coloured using Tattered rose distress Inks.
The circles and edges I punched with Fiskars punches.

Pocket Full of Posies

Stamping for the weekend's challenge this week is a pocket full of..........
I have used another Pixie from Charmed Cards
which I have coloured with copics and added fairy dust. (Whoever said that crafters dont make mistakes they have happy accidents LIED, I coloured my first pixie and have to say I was really pleased at how her dress turned out, I thought to myself that i'm starting to really get the hang of this shading lark. Anyways there I am happily guillotining my designer papers, when I realised that the pixie had got stuck to the back of one and I had cut her in half!!!!!!!!! What a plum!
I really didnt think it was a happy accident in fact I said a few naughty words, like 'oh dear' and 'sugar'!!!!!!!!!!! Hence there is now half a pixie on the inside. (and her dress is so not as good second time round).
The papers I have used are from Extreme Designer Vol 2 and card from an old Anna Griffen set.
I haven't put anything inside the envelopes as yet cause im not sure who this card will be for.

Rock and Roll 60's Challenge 3

Stampin For The Weekend's challenge this week is really unusual, you can take your pick from three different song titles to base your card on. I chose a Whiter Shade of Pale as I wanted to make a new baby card for my niece, and took the title as meaning muted colours.

I downloaded these papers from Raspberry Road, they are called Shabby Rose and I love the whole set, so have continued them on the inside.

The image is one of the New Whiff of Joy stamps Willow and Baby, this set of stamps is soo yummy I know I am gonna be making lots of baby and wedding cards. Lol.

The roses are from Donna and the lace I picked up at Ally Pally.

I was going to use this card for another challenge as well, but was having a bit of a moment when I put it together and missed out quite a big element. Dah.

3 in 1

Okay I have to start of apologising for the knaff photos, didnt realise how bad they were till I started to upload them, the good news is that the streaks are from the sun coming out to play and the card looks loads better IRL.

I made this card which I think kinda works for 3 different challenges.

The challenge this week for Stampin for the weekend is to use a digi image - well I have used lots. Fraid I must be sufferin from a bit of amnesia or probably just old age, cos I cant for the life of me remeber where I got these digi images from. I know the girls, the shop and the sentiment on the front came from the same place!!!!!! The shoe is from Sandra Dark. The sentiment on the inside is a stamp that I picked up at Ally Pally, which I thinks says everything that needs to be said! I cut away the shop window and used a piece of acetate for glass I raised the shop on foam and added shoes and a backround. I then added an extra canopy to give shape. The girls are coloured in Copics. The papers are also digi and are from Retro Diva Designs.

The challenge for Papertake Weekly is Shoes - so this definetely fits the bill and for Cute Card Thursday the challenge is to use a quote.

Off to do the dreaded housework now, but hopefully if I get it done quick enough I will be back later to show you some more of my picci.
