We have a new challenge starting today over at Make it Colourful which works soo well with the fabulous new release at http://www.makeitcrafty.com.au/ of some fabulous new winter scenes.
We want to see you colour snow. You can use whatever medium you like ase long as the snow is coloured.
Would love to show you what I created for the challenge but in my usual last minute rush to get something done I spilt water over my project its more slush than snow now lol. Never mind we have almost two weeks to get something ready so will try again at the weekend.
Ohhhh and dont forget the monthly challenge has also started this month fits in with Halloween and were asking you to do a scary sky.

Sheer Clothing - Make It Colourful DT
Were changing things slightly at Make It Colourful - so that you get more time to experiment with your colouring for the challenges were going over to fortnightly challenges. The Challenges will now be posted on the Friday so that you get all weekend to play and then you will have until the Wednesday of the second week to upload your project into our Challenge Gallery. (Dont worry this is a colouring challenge so if you haven't made your colouring into anything, it is still acceptable)
(and yep I know it is now Sunday and I am only just posting, but had a bit of a week hubby has just had a pacemaker fitted, so been backwards and forwards to the hospital, he's all home now and recovering well) luckily the Make It Colourful team have a real understanding Boss in Zoe who knows that for a lot of these challenges it is our first time trying them as well so she doesnt mind us being a little late.
This fortnights challenge was most definetly a first time for me and I am going to say it my self just in case no one else does lol - I am real pleased with how it turned out. (Six months ago I wouldnt have even attempted this, lol, thanks Zoe for pushing us)
I used Angelica Prays from the new Christmas Collection.
Hopefully I have managed to keep her modesty with my Sheer dress! I wasnt to sure how to tackle this challenge until I watched the 'you tube' video the link is on the Make It Colourful Challenge Site.
I first coloured her body with Copics and then did the dress using a red Derwent Pencil and Sansador. The hardest part was working out which way the folds went in order to get the shading in the righ places, not saying that what I have done here is right, but I think I have the right idea.
Hope you give this a try.
