3 in 1

This cute little guy is from Whimsy Stamps. I have coloured him with Distress Inks. I used my distressing tool around al the papers and used Vintage Photo Distress Inks on the edges.
The papers are from the set I got at Costco's. Ribbons are Anita's. The bone and paw prints I stamped and then triple embossed.
Nope you aren't seeing things the sentiment is upside down - I will sign the 'fession' yep it was a bit of a boo boo, but I kinda liked it - it sort of goes with the quizzical look on that dogs face.

The images are from the Greeting Farm coloured with copics.

Forest Green, Cranberry, Cream

Well computer finally gave up completely today, with a terminal case of old age. Managed to get to Reading and buy the components for a new one though, which OH is loading now so hopefully I will be back in action soon.
I had printed a page of digi images in the week that I wanted to use, but unfortunately no papers so it has been a matter of scratching around to find some papers to go with the images.

this image is by Victoria Case and I think fits really well for a mans xmas card I will probably add a cheers sentiment as soon as I can print again.

I coloured the image in copics and added fluffy stuff and glossy accents to the pints.

I used the colours Forest Green, Cream and Cranberry which fits with this weeks challenge at Victoria Case Stamp Challenge

Challenge 23

After having a week of feeling too k.......d to do anything by the time I've got home from work, it was quite relaxing to have a bit of a play today. I really wanted to have a go at the easel cards that are all over blogland at the moment and am quite pleased with the result although I managed to put the brads in skew whiff duh!
I followed the sketch from The Sugar Bowl with the added element of Thankfulness.
The image is from the sugar nellie autumn collection.
The Deer I stamped out a couple of extra times and was really pleased when I managed to turn it around by stamping onto acetate and then rubbing onto my paper. Not sure if that is the best way of doing it but it worked!

I coloured the images with Copics and added fluffy stuff and glitter to the girls hat and coat sleeves.

The thank you charm was a pressie from Whimsy Stamps. Flowers are Hero Art.

Papers are My Mind Eye, I distressed all the edges and inked them with Fired Brick and Vintage Photo distress inks.

The Pixie Cottage Candy

The Pixie Cottage is giving away this fab candy to qualify you have to pick your favourite and give the reason why.

Should be easy cept I like them all, the penguins are great and look so cute in their wooly hats, the reindeer with baubles on his antlers looks like fun plenty of bling to add to them, but I think most unlike me the best is the little girl with the sled, this looks like such a versatile stamp that can be put with so many different scenes or on its own.

Frosty the Snowman - Cute Daisy May DT Card, All that sparkles

It's time for a new challenge at Cute Daisy May and this week we want to see what you come up with for a 'Blue Christmas'

For my card I used this cute snowman, he has such a happy face I can't help loving him.
I coloured him with Copics and used flake (that is Flake and not a typo, not sure what it is really called as it was a pressie)glitter for his body, which gives him a real sparkly snow look IRL.
I then got a bit carried away and used Glitter Board for my matting and Layering and the snowflakes which I cut using my Spellbinders Snowflake die.
I used the Spellbinders snowflake embossing folder highlighted with Persian Sea Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Mica Pigments, which gives a lovely effect when the light hits it.
I added some gems and a crystal for his nose, to complete my card. I used Sticky pads and silicone to attach my snowman to give the card some depth which you can sort of see here.

Linnie the creator of Cute Daisy May has got into the Christmas Spirit early and is giving away a sheet of four fabulous xmas images, so if you like this cutie Snowman you need to head on over to the Cute Daisy May Blog to grab yours now. The great thing about them are they are digital so you get to use them straight away no waiting for postmen strikes to finish and you can resize them to fit your project.

Dont forget to visit the rest of the DT's blog and check out their creations.

I am entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge which is All That Sparkles, The
Creative Card Crew Snowflakes Our Daily Bread Designs Shimmer and Cooking it up with Katie a recipe challenge - Start with Christmas add sparkle and finish wih a border

This is the second cute digi image that I got from the Greeting Farm after seeing a card made by Dawny P, you can see what she did with one of the images here.
The image I coloured with Copics and the backing papers are Bearly Mine Designer Extreme vol II
I used the sketch at the Anyone for Anya Challenge
I am also going to enter this into the Creative Card Crew Challenge which is snowflakes.

Back to the 80's

Here is my second guest designer card for the Stampin for the Weekend challenge which this week is 'Back to the 80's'and we have a list of song titles for you to choose from dont worry if you dont know the words to the songs, its just the title you need, which are (and of course I am far too young to know any of these NOT) •1. Girls on Film - Duran Duran
•2. Dirty Laundry - Don Henley
•3. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper
and the color combo is Purple, Orange and Blue.

We have another fabulous sponsor this week who are ofering a $25 gift voucher to the winner you can check out there store Here

For my card I chose Girls on Film and what better girls for that than the Gorjuss Girls.

I have used backing papers from Bearly Mine Designs, Designer Extreme Vollume II disc. and the 'film' I made wih plain black card and an inkssentials white pen.

As the images ended up being rather large I kept the rest of the card very simple and just added some flowers from stash and some Swarzkopf crystals and stars for bling, wording is rub ons from Tesco's.

As I had huge problems with my printer I easn't able to print out any more papers so I kept the inside really simple and just added another Gorjuss Girl to a plain insert.

Thanks for looking and I hope you take part in our challenge this week.

Spots and Stripes

I made this card cos I couldnt resist these cute little xmas mice which are from the Greeting Farm and realised that they fit with this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge which is Spots or Stripes.

Phil's Crafting

I thought I would share with you all how I get to spend so much of my free time crafting.

Phil my OH has his own crafting, he is in to making model helicopters and this is one that is nearing completion.

He airbrushed the canopy himself and having seen some of the shop purchased ones, I think he has done a fabulous job.

Thanks for looking and I know he would love to see your thoughts on his work.

GDT project for Stampin for the Weekend - Halloween

I am soo glad Friday has arrived so I can show you what I have created as a Guest Designer for the Stampin for the Weekend Challenge which this week is 'Halloween' and is being sponsored by

Donna is giving away this fantastic CD to the winner this week. If you havent seen her CD's before check them out Here you wont be disappointed, Donna's papers are gorgeous.

I have never made Halloween things before and I guess you will be able to tell I had great fun and maybe got a little bit carried away!!!!!!!!!
Sending Halloween cards in the UK is not the norm, but every year we have a couple of little chinese girls trick or treating in their withches outfits and they are so cute, so I thought I would make some special treat holders for them.

The treat holders were made from patterns which I got from Martha Stewart.com and altered just a bit. I found the gorgeous little girl witch at Digital Ink Co. called I Wanna Go Too isnt she just adorable. I coloured her with Copics and attached her to my small treat holders.
The sitting witch, and ghost are from Victoria Case.
Sweets are from Sainsbury's and I am going to try and be good and not pinch them!

I then got completely into the Halloween 'Spirit' and made a card anyway.
Once again I used 'I wanna go too' and the backing papers and insert are from Designer Extreme III. the added cat and bat I cut out from another sheet of Donna's backing paper.

The haunted house is another digi image by Victoria Case and the Boo is Digital Ink.

I have to show you this last photo as I had this great idea that the treats would look really good if I took the photos with a lighted pumpkin, so I made my Baby Boy (he's 24) carve a pumpkin for me, which looked brilliant in the dark, but the treats didnt show up as well as I hoped, but after all his work I felt he deserved the recognition.

Thanks for looking and I am really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with for the challenge.

I going to enter the card into the The Play Date Cafe Challenge which is a colour challenge and the holders into the Saturday Spolight Challenge which is treat holders and the The Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge which is Orange and 1 other colour.

I Love You, Clare's Sketch

The theme for Cute Daisy May this week is 'I Love You'.
I decided to go with this real cute image of two girls, which I admit I was going to make as a Sister card Cept I couldnt find a stamp for sister and I was being a bit on the lazy side coz I couldnt be asked to turn on the main computer to print out a sentiment, so it turned into a BFF card, which i think still works for the theme.
The image comes from Sheet 80 which you can purchase from Here

The image is printed onto pearlescent paper so the girls have a nice sheen which doesnt come across in the photo :-(

I coloured them with copics and added some sakura gliter pen. The flowers are a mixture of Petaloo, Hero Art and Craft Creations.

The DP is Basic Grey Porcelain Pad.

I followed the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp which was done by Clare and I must admit I loved it, it was so nice to work with I just know I will be using it again.

Dig Deep, Challenge 20. Create a Card

This is my entry for the Stampin for the Weekend Challenge which is a sketch by Amy.
I have used another of the House Mouse stamps that I got at Ally Pally - I think this has to be my favourite. The two little mice on the sides are from an older stamp so I shall enter this into the Secret Crafter Challenge

DP paper is Hot Off The Press and plain vellum which I have stamped swirls onto and added Sea Foam Embosing Powder which I have had for and never used :-(

I am also goint to put this in the Lotstodo Challenge which is to create a card. I think I've got that one okay.
