Tom Kitten

I made this one using one of the background papers from the Craft Creations Tom Kitten CD and stamps from the Tom Kitten Set. The vine stamp is from Dimension Fourth from the Bottom of the Garden Set.
I got the idea of the frame from the Whiff of Joy tutorial blog (Which has some amazing techniques on it. Coloured with Copics and again no flowers.

Peter Rabbit

I used to love reading the Beatrix Potter books to my boys when they were young oh so many years ago! So when my OH saw the Crafters Companion show featuring them he bought me the WHOLE set. How lucky am I?

Peter Rabbit was always the boys favourite (I think they liked the fact he used to best the farmer lol).
So I made this first card using the stamps from the Peter Rabbit Set. The main image I have used three layers for dimension.

And not a flower or bit of bling in sight.

Anything Goes CDM DT

The challenge for Cute Daisy May this week is a nice easy one ANYTHING GOES, so I hope lots of you will be entering this week.
I have popped in and seen all the gorgeous creations from last week but sorry had real problems leaving comments on most of the blogs, I think I have a bit of a gremlin!

As to my card I chose this really gorgeous girl from Sheet 187 which you can get Here.
As the sun has decided to come out to play I thought I would make a spring time card, it feels like forever since we last saw the sun.

Papers are K & Co. I made the trellis with a Martha Stewart punch but left the scallops off as I wanted the effect of garden trellis with flowers growing through it.
Flowers are from Wild Orchid and Craft Creations which I coloured with Copics to match her dress and added lots of stickles and I used flower soft for the flowers in the basket. Copic Colour Challenge has the following colour challenge. I used the W7 on the basket, the C7 in her hair and the BG96 for the leaves amid the flower soft.

I followed the Sketch from Sketch Saturday although I confess I didnt leave enough room for the sentiment lol.

Im also going to enter this into Lily of the Valley which is easel cards

My New Stamps and Rothenburg

Mr Postie bought me some new stamps yesterday from Lilac Lemon Designs who have some yummy Art Deco Stamps, so had to ink one up today.

I didnt have much time so kept things real simple and used a background from Di Kayes Cd, (who I met whilst doing a show in Bristol, not only is she a great lady she is a fabulous artist her original artworks are totally awesome, if you are into art deco in any sort of way you should check out her website, although it doesnt really do justice to the real thing).

Anyways rambling on a bit, back to my lady, who I coloured in copics and sakura glitter pen and then triple embossed. Took photo in the garden today as such a nice day, but still managed to get shadows sorry David Bailey I definetely aint.

I'm going to enter this into Ooh la la Creations Challenge and Paper Cutz and Secret Crafter Anything Goes.
Creative Cottage New

I finally managed to finish my papertole picture of Anton Pieck's Rothenburg today too.

Im quite pleased with the depth I have managed to create and when the light hits it the fountain and people cast great shadows.
You get a bit of the idea of how deep it is here

All I gotta do now is convince hubby that he really needs to frame it for me!!!!!!

Crafty Cats

This is my second project for the Crafty Cats Design Team

I used the cute paper piecing bunnies from the Easter Bunny CD which you can purchase Here.

I printed the bunnies onto pearlescent papers which give them a really lovely shimmer.

As soon as I saw the sitting bunny I knew I was going to have to make him into an easter basket for my grandson and as luck would have it Jacqui has posted a tutorial on the Whiff of Joy Inspiration blog on how to make this really sweet basket.
The instructions were so good even I managed it first time LOL. Thanks Jacqui xx.

I havent put any eggs in yet cause I just so know I will pig them long before Louis gets a look in!

I have made a matching card, this time using the stand up Bunny. I used punched L-Em leaves to make it look like he's hiding in the grasses, but not sure that it has worked to well.

Papers are from Costco.
Flowers were punched using my Nellies Choice embossing punches.

Crafty Cat GDT

Lucky me I got picked as a guest designer for Crafty Cat Designs Trak sells really cute paper piecing CD's and Digi Images. I got to choose one of her Digi's to make a card and I chose the cute little fairy girl, with my DIL in mind as it was her birthday and she is a little princess lol!
For my card I followed the sketch from Friday sketchers

and made this easel card in Lou's favourite colour purple, I also made the envelope to match.

The skirt of the faury I printed a few times and layered it for depth which you can kinda see here
I then used the same image in different sizes to decorate the coxes I made for her pressies, which if ur interested was new make - up and brushes.

You can check out what the rest of the design team have made Here

Pinky's Sketch

Wow another month gone, cant believe its March already, I think the Pixies are stealing the days!!!!!!!! Not that I'm sad to see February gone its been a cold miserable month so here's to hoping March is better and what better way to start the month of than with a Cute Daisy May Challenge.
This week we have this fabulous sketch for you to follow by Pinky

I made just one more Easel card using the sketch (I just so love these cards)

I need to make an 18th Birthday for my MIL to give to a neighbours daughter so am hoping she will like this one, but just in case I havent added the sentiment until she has seen it. As I had this in mind I chose a bit more of a grown up Daisy, although this particular image has been discontinued you can find loads of brilliant images at The Cute Daisy May Digi Store in fact Linnie has added soo many new sheets its hard to chose one.

The papers I have used are from The English Paper Company. Image coloured in Copic and that fabulous flower was given to me by the lovely and talented Claudia Rose.
Have used my Nesties and MS punch.

Thanks to everyone who joined last weeks challenge, it was great to see so many entrants, hope you all join in again this week.

Have a great day
