3 Embellishments at Fab n Funky

Hiya everyone

Havent been around for ages,things have been hectic here, had a little holiday to Turkey then came back and went straight into hospital for an op on my knee, come out and got what had to be MAN flu,
seriously never knew women could catch it!

Today Im hosting what will be my last challenge with Fab n Funky for a while as I have had to pack up all my craft stuff as we are completely redecorating our house ready to sell in the new year.

For the theme this week I have chosen 3 Embellishments so should be nice and easy lol.

 I have kept really simple using some holly, twine and a charm, but you can use as many of each embellishment as you like.

I got a bit creative with some sparkle medium from Imagination Crafts for my cards this week.

 I pasted the medium onto acetate for this card and then layered with spellbinder dies

sorry about the photo not very good but with the trouble I was having tonight Im just grateful I managed to get the card done at all.

Talk about ditzy I was totally stoopid tonight and thought I had broken

my ebossser completely when I 

picked my magnetic sheet up along with my sandwich and put it through the machine at the bottom

it got caught completely and started to go through to the mechanisms.

luckily hubby came to my rescue and managed to take the machine apart to get it all out and its working once more yay.

Hi

The colours are one of my favourite colours schemes, and was just perfect for the image that I chose from our amazing sponsor this week who is

She is called Dragon Rider and I just loved colouring her.

I made her quite big cos there is soo much detail on her so kept the card really simple.

I coloured the image with copics I would list the colours but would you believe I ended up using over 25 different colours lol.

Im not always happy with my colouring but am quite pleased with how this turned out and just know I will be colouring this one again.

I printed her out on to wedding paper 3 times and plain card. I coloured her face hair body and flowers with copics and then decoupaged her dress

Tried to get a shot showing how she stands out but dont think it shows that well sorry.

kept the card CAS just using the die cuts and flowers and really pleased with result.

#207 Animals at Fab n Funky

Hi Peeps we have a new challenge at Fab n Funky Challenges

ANIMALS

this week we dont want to see any people on your creations.

I chose to use 

Wild 3

from 

FITZTOWN

and try something just a bit different- although this turned out more different than I expected

I started by masking the tiger and brayering the background I was really pleased with the brayering but the mask stuck to the tiger and spoilt the image, just as I was ready to throw it in the bin and start again I saw the back of the card which I had placed on my splodge mat to brayer on and this was the ink it had picked up from the mat and happy accident I loved the effect. I printed the tiger on top and using a cottonbud coloured the tiger with ink.

I placed the card onto some Tim Holtz backing card which I lightly sanded.

Sorry i'm late with my post today - have had a wicked cold and really struggled to get anything done.
But I finally managed to make a choccie bag this evening, only another six to go!
