When Life Was Simple

Just wanted to show you the card I made for my boy's birthday.

The papers are Sweetpring from Fancy Pants Designs.

I cut flower using the Tim Holtz Alterations Distressed Flowers Die Cut in my Bug. I distressed the petals with Fired Brick Distress Inks. and added a brad to hold thm together after a bit of shaping. The edge of the card was also done using a Tim Holtz Die Cut.

The Sentiment is from Nana Vic's shop from her Toilet Training Set.

Now bless his heart he said on opening the card and looking at the front that it was really nice, then he opened it up and had a good laugh.

Just so you know he is now 28. LOL.

  2. Oh my gosh Beccy your Fabulous. I adore what you did with this card. I was even fooled by the gorgeous cover and I'm sure your son got a kick out of the inside. *Laughs* I'm proudly displaying your card as my Featured Artist over on my site. Stunning papers and perfectly coloured. Thanks for the tip that you chose your papers and work out a design before colouring in the digi. *Huge Hugs*
