Autumn Colours - Make It Colourful DT

Copics on the chair, Distress Inks balanced precariously on the cutter,  papers on the table, stamps everywhere, glue and scissors in the pot and glitter in me hair, yep I'm BACK.

Dont worry I'm not gonna bore you with why I have been MIA for so long, just want to say im glad to be back and the best bit is that I am still designing with the most amazingly talented DT in Blogland, which is of course the Make It colourful girls.

The new fortnightly challenge starting today is to colour using Autumn Colours.
Great challenge for me cos I love the autumn colours, I know it means that winter is just round the corner but Mother Nature sure knows how to say goodbye to the good weather. the colours at this time of year are amazing and luckily I live quite close to Epping forest so get to see the trees at their best.

And for my first project in such a long time it had to be a card using some of the fab new digis from the PARIS COLLECTION at Make It Crafty.

For my design I used elements from the Balcony Doors and Windows set, the Creeping Ivy set and Daphne Princess

For my design I would like to say I was inspired by the pre made scene that Zoe has done for those that don't want to merge images together, but the truth is I copied it unashamedly lol. I did start of merging the images but then decided it was such a great 3D scene it deserved a bit more than that.

I printed each element seperately and coloured them in as I couldnt decide which colouring medium to go for I have used a bit of everything lol.
The balcony door and railings are coloured in Copics. Daphne in Derwent pencils. Ivy in Big and Juicy and Brick Backgound with Distress Inks,

Once I had coloured all the images I cut them all out, including all the white from the railings. I then moulded each piece and assembled them onto the brick background, which is a sissix folder.
I have ended up with a true 3D scene of Daphne on the balcony all dressed up with I hope somewhere great to go. Im thinking she is looking to see where her prince charming has got to!
