Lilians Sketch #26

As you probably all know by now I kinda like Digi images, my other big like is Sugar Nellie - so how excited was I when Funky Kits got Digi images I was like a kid in a sweet shop. No I wasnt I lie I was much worse I had to have them all I NEEDED them.

This is Fairy Number 1 which I coloured with Copics and added extra fine glitter to the wings. I followed the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl I dont know why but I found this sketch quite difficult and not too sure that Im happy with the results. The extra challenge this week is NEW well the digi image is new so are the Copic colours that I used on her dress.
Papers are Kay & Co. flowers are from stash.

Marlenes Sketch

I was asked to do another card using the same image and sketch that I used for the Sugar Bowl Challenge for a friend's twins birthday.

The papers are Eskimo kisses. To give a bit of depth I decoupaged the umbrella and bird, which I attached with silicone.

Challenge 24

This little beauty from Sugar Nellie arrived on my doorstep on Friday and this has been my first chance to ink it up.

I followed Marlene's sketch at The Sugar Bowl, this week it is to include the added element of Zig Zags. I covered this by using the Pinking blade on my rotacutter. Papers are Eskimo Kisses.

I coloured the image with Perga Liner Water Colour Pencils and Sakura glitter Pens for the flowers and of course Glamour dust for the added sparkle. I mounted the flowers on an icicle from the Range and added some Swavorski cyrstals for bling and Woodware fluffy stuff for the snow.

I'm also entering this into the Kraftin Kimmie Challenge which is
Christmas/Winter and Cute Card Thursday Teens.

Challenge 23

After having a week of feeling too k.......d to do anything by the time I've got home from work, it was quite relaxing to have a bit of a play today. I really wanted to have a go at the easel cards that are all over blogland at the moment and am quite pleased with the result although I managed to put the brads in skew whiff duh!
I followed the sketch from The Sugar Bowl with the added element of Thankfulness.
The image is from the sugar nellie autumn collection.
The Deer I stamped out a couple of extra times and was really pleased when I managed to turn it around by stamping onto acetate and then rubbing onto my paper. Not sure if that is the best way of doing it but it worked!

I coloured the images with Copics and added fluffy stuff and glitter to the girls hat and coat sleeves.

The thank you charm was a pressie from Whimsy Stamps. Flowers are Hero Art.

Papers are My Mind Eye, I distressed all the edges and inked them with Fired Brick and Vintage Photo distress inks.

Kathy's Sketch

Another great sketch to follow at The Sugar Bowl this week.
I have used one of the stamps from the new fall collection I dont normally choose to make boy's cards but I just loved this little lad and the way he's looking at the leaf - he obviously knows the minute he walks away its gonna fall!

I have coloured him in copics, the DP's are Earths Palette from Hot Off the Press embelishments are also Hot Off the Press from the Masculine set.

Judy's Sketch

This is my entry for TheSugarBowlchallenge which is a sketch with the addition of handmade flowers.
I used a couple of the Manga girls which I coloured with copics.
The papers are Wild Asparagus from My Mind's Eye.
The flowers were made out of the same papers and sprayed with Olive glimmer mist. The frame on the front of the card I covered with Peeled Paint and Frayed Burlap distress inks and then glimmer mist.

Icarried on the papers on the inside but not too sure I like what Ive done.

Anyway thanks for stopping by.

Dont forget to check out my candy.

Challenge 15 Gayle's Sketch

OMG are we having a thunderstorm or what in the East End of London - Lightening is flashing everywhere and the thunder is making the house shake.

I have made this card for the Sugar Bowl Challenge http://sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/ which is a sketch with the added option to use ribbons/bows.

As I had bought this gorgeous lacey ribbon today at my little Indian shop I just had to use it, so I turned the sketch around a little bit.

I found these Papermania papers from the Exquisite Paper Collection that matched the ribbon perfectly, lurking in the back of my cupboard.

I love this little image from Sugar Nellie which I coloured with Copics. The flowers and gems are also from the Indian shop.

Lia's Sketch

Ok I Know I said I weren't gonna make any more cards, I lied didn't feel in the mood to do my robin today so inked a few more of the new Sugar Nellie Stamps I got this morning. Would have posted it ages ago but our internet has not worked all day - problem with BT.

Luckily I had made a sketch of Lia's brilliant sketch yesterday to follow.

The must include element was to use blue and green somewhere on the card. Well I reckon I achieved that lol.

Thanks for looking - have a great weekend whatever the weather, which in London today is horrible rain!

Sketch 10 - Marlene's Sketch

I was soooo excited when the post man arrived this morning - he bought me my first Sugar Nellie Stamps and I just couldnt wait to try them out and what better way than with a challenge.

So this is my first entry for the Sugar Bowl Challenge, which is a sketch by Marlene, with the added element of buttons.

The buttons were the hardest part for me as I dont actually have any, but what I do have is the Spellbinders Heritage die set which has button dies.

I coloured the Sweet and Sassy Image with Copic's. The papers are DCWV, Ribbon is Anita's with maroon velvet backing, which I have had for ever and totally forgot about. Flower was from Range and gem from stash.
