Hi 

The challenge this week at Fab n Funky is a photo inspiration

The colours are one of my favourite colours schemes, and was just perfect for the image that I chose from our amazing sponsor this week who is

and here is what I did

She is called Dragon Rider and I just loved colouring her.

I made her quite big cos there is soo much detail on her so kept the card really simple.

I coloured the image with copics I would list the colours but would you believe I ended up using over 25 different colours lol.

Im not always happy with my colouring but am quite pleased with how this turned out and just know I will be colouring this one again.

and this is what I did with her

I printed her out on to wedding paper 3 times and plain card. I coloured her face hair body and flowers with copics and then decoupaged her dress

Tried to get a shot showing how she stands out but dont think it shows that well sorry.

kept the card CAS just using the die cuts and flowers and really pleased with result.

I got to play with 

Lady Jane

and made this easel card using papers from the Once Upon a Time pad.

I just joined the Kit and Clowder site and am starting the colouring classes, I coloured Lady Jane after watching the videos on skin and hair (bit naughty cos I havent done the practise sections yet) but am pleased with the results and have used colours I wouldnt normally have tried. So looking forward to doing the lessons properly!

The horse and cart is a Tattered Lace die which I painted with gold and silver eco paints.

Spring Cleaning Anyone?

Been playing with my Brother CutnScan sooo loving that machine!!!

Have used the cutter to make my mats for this card the butterflies were Dies.

This busy bee is Mayde Dust Bunnies which is a Lacy Sunshine image which you can get Here

just right for a spring card and makes me feel that I really should give my place a spring clean.

Sorry not sure who wrote it but this is just one of the verses and now I feel better that I didnt

I made this card for my Grandson Mason who is a Lightening McQueen Addict.

The image was a colouring page I found on the web which I coloured with copics.

I made a fridge magnet using a Disney mould and air dry clay for him to colour and attached to card with magnetic strips.

#207 Animals at Fab n Funky

Hi Peeps we have a new challenge at Fab n Funky Challenges

ANIMALS

this week we dont want to see any people on your creations.

I chose to use 

Wild 3

from 

FITZTOWN

and try something just a bit different- although this turned out more different than I expected

I started by masking the tiger and brayering the background I was really pleased with the brayering but the mask stuck to the tiger and spoilt the image, just as I was ready to throw it in the bin and start again I saw the back of the card which I had placed on my splodge mat to brayer on and this was the ink it had picked up from the mat and happy accident I loved the effect. I printed the tiger on top and using a cottonbud coloured the tiger with ink.

I placed the card onto some Tim Holtz backing card which I lightly sanded.

This is my entry for the Lacy Sunshine Face Book Moppet Challenge

Just for a change I have gone for the monochrome effect and completely coloured her using Derwent pencils.

I cut Camille and the notes out using my scan n cut machine, which I am LOVING, just got to iron out a few hiccups with it.

This was a real quick card to make using Digi Darlas LOVE HEART 1 I coloured image with a sparkly silver market and stamped swirels around edges with silver ink - used new bow maker and added flowers done.

Ive been practising with my new bow maker and love the result - the bows looks os much better -expect to see more in the future lol.
