Helloooo and Happy Wednesday
You may have noticed I have been very bad at blogging for the past few months, this was because I have been doing all the wedding stationary for my son's best friends wedding.
I made 170 wedding invites, 170 RSVPs, 90 place cards, 120 thank you cards, plus menus and table plans it was a real labour of love.
The wedding took place on Sunday and was really lovely.
Here's me with my son who was the best man.
and here's my gorgeous grandsons with Grandad looking totally cool in their matching outfits.
When I get a chance I will take some photos of the stationary and share.
Meanwhile its time for a new challenge at
which is....

Oh my word Beccy, a labour of love indeed! I did my own wedding invites too and was pretty happy that we had a very small gathering cause at the end of making the 20 identical cards and gift boxes I was pretty fed up. And I didn't even make RSVPs or place cards or anything else! LOL And you even had time to make such a pretty card for our challenge, just adorable! You are a real trooper :)

A real labour of love in regards to all that wedding stationery. Look forward to seeing it. Now to the card for the challenge, I have to admit to having a soft spot for Gnomes and have a couple or three Victorian style gnomes in my garden at the back of my house. So I love love love this card Alli xx
ReplyDeleteHi Beccy, seems we are all at it with the invites, I have just finished making them for my youngest son's wedding later in the year, but have to say not as many as you have made, well done. Lovely card and great image. Super photo's too.

G'day Beccy, Your grandson's look adorable in their matching outfits and it looks like it was a beautiful day for your son's friends wedding. You did an amazing job of putting together all the wedding stationary and I'm sure that many of the guests would have put them away for a special keepsake. (I know I would have *Smiles*). Great to catch up on all of your projects and so pleased to see that you still find time to express yourself through your art work. Love and Hugs Vickie. xo
