This card I made following the Creative Inspirations sketch, I used a much smaller card than normal and was a bit worried that it might be a bit crowded but I think it came out alright. Whiff of Joy's Musing Melinda and her bench I have coloured with Copic's, am getting a bit more confident with them now. Papers are from Designer Extreme vol 1 (Can't think what I used before I got this cd lol) sentiment stamp is Penny Black flowers and gem from stash.

Feeling Blue?
Okay am on a roll today - must be the fact that I got a day off cause I have to go to the dreaded dentist later and I need to keep my mind of the fact i've got to have my tooth out.
Gone Fishin
Well having decided I really cant give the previous card to my son I thought I had better make another - so here it is perhaps a bit more appropriate - except I don't think he's ever been fishing in his life lol. Still I liked the stamp which was another of my purchases from Ally Pally, which I had forgotton about I think it is another of the 'Little Uns' set, but I don't know the company name. (I also got a footballer, which just may have to be inked up today) . not sure if this fits with any challenge but I thought I would share. I coloured him with Copics and used distressed edges with Peeled Paints distress ink The fishing embellishments I have had for ages - not sure where they came from and of course those wonderful backing papers are from Designer Extreme Vol 1.
thanks for looking. Beccy x
Stars and Stripes Challenge 28
This weeks challenge on Whiff of Joy is stars and stripes, I first thought I would make a mans card for this challenge as it is my baby's 22nd this week but i started to look through the Designer Extreme CD and couldn't resist the star paper. Rest of papers come from the same cd. Unforunately I don't have many WOJ stamps yet and thought this one was the best I had to go with the papers. But I didn't want to do a christmas theme, so I cut the lantern off and covered the holly on her dress with the ribbon. I coloured the image with copics and added prima flowers. Dont think i had better give this card to my baby he's soo much bigger than me. lol

Bubbles 2 challenges
Having purchased Bubble and Squeak from the Daisy and Dandelion collection at Ally Pally I thought I would enter the Daisy and Dandelion Challenge, this monthas well. This is also my entry, for the Papertake Weekly Challenge, which is spots and stripes. I used Bubblegum and Liquorice backing papers by Summertime (this is not the right colours, this is my printers interpretation, (looks like Im gonna have to invest in a new one!) but I like the colours anyway, and as my mum used to say waste not want not (though I think she was talking about puddings and sweets lol). I printed straight onto the paper and coloured with Copic markers. Added Prima flowers and some ribbon and gems from stash.
Pickles and Onion
This is my entry for the Stamp With Fun challenge, the Sketch was really lovely to follow. I have used Pickles and Onion from the Daisy and Dandelion range, which I have coloured with Copics. The papers are Bubblegum and Liquorice from Summertime. Flowers are prima with flowers from the backing paper set added to the middle.
April Recipe Swap
Apologies that I have been soo slow with this months recipe swap - but have finally caught up. The April recipe swap hosted by Angela on the Lots to do Forum, is for 1 fat page 1 ATC and 1 Skinny that include the colour yellow, a stamped image, and 2 brads. I have used Penny Black images on Summers background papers. I didnt colour them as I think they look cute just as they are. I added the yellow roses because when I printed the papers my printer was having a bit of a hissy and they came out more orange than yellow.

Charmed Im Sure
Heres my card for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. The challenge was to make any project as long as it has a charm. I have used a new stamp that I aquired at Ally Pally from Dimension Fourth. I coloured the image using Copic Ciao Markers, added glamour dust to her wings and glossy accents to the poppies. Background papers are from Bearly Mine, Extreme Designer Vol 1. Charm is Mother of Pearl and flowers and ribbon are from stash.
Sketch 48
This is my entry for the Sketch Saturday Challenge.
I have used a Whiff of Joy stamp Musing Melinda, she started off on the bench but for this challenge and the papers I chose I thought it looked to heavy and I liked her better on her own. I coloured her with Copics and added extra fine glitter to her wings and the shaped green card. The backing papers are from the fabulous Bearly Mine's Designer Extreme Vol 1 CD.
Ribbon and gems from stash.
Brown Orange and Green
After my trip to Ally Pally last week I had bought so many new things to play with that, tearing myself away to go back to work this week was just soooo hard!!! Why do days off always go so quick? My only consolation is that the more I work the more stamps and things I can have - and my wish list is sooo long!
I made this card from stamps I bought at Ally Pally - I think they are called 'Little Uns' - I just love the expressions on their faces. The horse is Whiff of Joy - Queen Charlottes Horse from the Medieval collection. I used brown and green papers from the Extreme Designer Vol I cd by Bearly Mine Designs. The background I waterwashed with Distressed Inks. The images I coloured with Copics.
The challenge for Colour Create is Brown, Orange and Green and optionally the added twist of being for a man, if I include the colour of her dress it fits in quite well.
Thanks for looking - all comments are greatly appreciated.

Lots to Do
I was asked to make a card for a 60th Wedding Anniversary. The card had to be black and white with accents of silver.
This was perfect for me as it fits into the Lotstodo Forum Challenge which is black and white this week.
I used my favourite rose stamp and coloured main image with black soot distress ink, the other I stamped and added glitter dust. The flowers look yellow on the photo but are in actual fact off white. I added a few Swavorski crystals as it is a diamond anniversary. I don't have a stamp for anniversary and am a bit loathed to use peel offs so am still playing around with ideas for the text.
Thanks for looking.

Papertake Weekly Challenge
Proud as Peacocks
I was on a bit of a Peacock theme in case you haven't guessed and realised that this one fits in with the Cupcake Craft Challenge which is 'One Layer'. I purposely kept this card simple to give what I hope is an elegant feel. I used an Artylicious Stamp coloured with Sakura pens and mounted on some sparkly paper and matching ribbon.

Lotstodo Challenge
I have made this card for the Lots to Do Forum Challenge. The criteria was a number ao I have made this a birthday card for a seven year old. I have used Bearly Mine backing papers and Stamp, which I have coloured using Cosmic Shimmer. The number 7 is from the Cute Companion set, but as it was bigger than I thought I had to cut it down from its original size to get it to fit. (Serves me right for not getting it out earlier considering it was the main focus for the challenge. LoL).
Sketch Saturday Challenge
This is the card I have made for the Sketch Saturday Challenge. I have used backing papers from the Bearly Mine, Extreme Designs Vol 1 CD, which is fast becoming my favourite, printed onto glossy paper. I stamped the vintage woman using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and Embossing Powders and added some gems and ribbon and I followed the theme onto the inside.

Fairy Magic
I used the Crafter's Companion flower fairies rose stamp and vintage photo distress ink which I used as a watercolour taking the colour from the stamped image before it dried. I used pages from the Once Upon a Time Stack for the background and coloured flowers with the distress ink and added a few gems.
I used the sketch from the Stamp with Fun challenge as the template for the card and hoping someone will show me how to link it to there challenge.
I hope this also fits in with the Lots to Do challenge this week which is Art.
