Now how convenient is that this weeks challenge at Dotties World is for an Easel Card and I still had one little boy I really wanted to do from the Boys Set from Charmed Cards and Gifts.

I printed him out twice so I could layer his arm and train set.
I followed the sketch from Papertake Weekly and the colours from Simon Say which are Pink or Blue with Green and Brown.

The appy irthday I stamped onto the ribbon with Stazon and the H & B I stamped onto the DP (sorry cant remember where the papers from)and then tripled embossed with clear embossing powder.

Unused Stash,

It seems like forever ago that Jacqui (Cats Whiskers) told me I had to see Jayne at Ali Pally for a preview of her new stamps and of course I just had to have them, but this is the first chance I have had to ink one up.

Now you would have thought a lovely day like today I would be able to get a good photo but nope my yellows all look a bit on the green side!!!!!!!!!

I decided to keep the card real simple and not add any DP paper Im quite pleased with the effect. I have coloured the images with distress inks and am entering it into the following challenges.
ABC U - Unused Stash
Fab n Funky Make your own embellishments
The Playdate Cafe Pale Yellow, Lt Green and Pink
Flutterby Wednesday Flowers
Corrosive Challenge Clean and Simple

One For The Boys

Wow what a fabulous day it is here - the sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky. And even better Hubby has gone out and I have got to play.

This is Soccerboy and is one of the great images by CJ, which you can purchase from her new Digital Stamp StoreCowgirl Up Digital Stampen Ranch (Dont forget to enter our Blog Hop to win some of these great images the starting post is Cowgirls Sunday Stampen Challenge

I am going to confess when putting this card together I had no intention of making an easel card, but being a bit of a dildo I made the toppers and put them all together before I got out my card stock, duh, when I went to put it altogther the card was a tad too small for the design I had made - still never mind I happen to like Easel cards. Lol.

For this card I followed the sketch from Creative Card Crew. Coloured in Copics.
The footballs I cropped from the original image and resized - that is such a cool thing about digi's you can play around with them.

The papers are from DCWV Bright Stack. I used my spotty folder in the Cuttlebug and sanded the spots and edges for a distressed look.

Im entering this card into the following challenges.
Creative Card Crew Sketch
Creative Cottage One for the Boys
Fab n Funky Make it yourself (embellishments)

Okay so what is the challenge?

Its a Colour Combo of Red, Black and White - well scary for me I dont really do Black and White and have a real problem colouring with Red Copics.

But on saying that I was actually quite pleased with how this turned out in the end.

This image is called Emilee and can be found Here
I printed the image twice and coloured her with Copics and added a touch of Sakura Glitter pen (which you cant see to well in the photo but IRL gives her a bit of sparkle I then layered her dress using foam pads to add dimension..

I used plain black and white papers which have a bit of a sheen and used my Martha Stewart punch around the page for the border. I added a piece of patterned vellum to mount the image on. The flowers and pin are from Wild Orchid.
Im entering this card into
Magical Crafts Challenge which is Black White and one other colour.

Your next stop on the Blog is the talented Betty so you need to gallop on over there.

Cowgirls Sunday Challenge - Spring

This is my first DT card for the brand new Cowgirls Sunday Challenge.

The challenge is going to run on a fortnightly basis and the first challenge is Mothers Day (for those in the US) or Spring

This image is called Tricia and is one of the fabulous digi images by CJ which you can purchase Here

I have coloured her with Copics and used sheets from the DCWV Brights stack and The Pocket Full of Posies stack. I used my nesties and run the cardstock through the cuttlebug in my daisy folder and sanded the card down to show the white core.

I have to apologise that I am not going to be able to visit you and see your creations for a few weeks as hopefully I am sunning myself in Bali at the moment, but I really hope plenty of you join in the fun and I will catch up with you all on my return.

Saturday, 1 May 2010

As you Like It

Well hopefully if I have done this right and today is the 1st May and the volcano ash has dissipated I am sunning my self in Bali whilst the first monthly challenge on the Whoopsi Daisy starts today.

Whoopsi Daisy is replacing Cute Daisy May and there will be a new challenge on the 1st of each month.

Linnie has been busy drawing new images which you can get hold of Here

For my card I chose this real cute little ballerina from Sheet 1.

She has been coloured in Copics and the papers are digital from Raspberry Road Shabby Roses.

Anyhoo I really hope you will be joining us for the challenge and forgive me if I dont get round to visiting you but I really need to work on my tan. LOL.

Hugs Beccy
