Bright Colours

Zoe challenge this week is to colour in bright colours and of course all the girls rose to this challenge so when checking out the challenge site don't forget your sunglasses!

I had a bit of a disaster when preparing my card and just to share with you what a plum I am this is what i did
Yep spent ages colouring Edwin and Tilda then wanted to print the Kissing Booth onto the same paper (which by the way is sooooooo the best paper I have ever tried for markers its from Zoe's shop and you can get it Here and yes she does ship to the UK) and the printed right over the top LOL.

No time to start again so instead am sharing this card with you this young chappie is Racing Rik and is from the Kiddo's Collection

Coloured with Copics using the Feather Blend Technique on his hair which I love. The brick wall is a Sizzix Tim Holtz folder which I coloured with Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany distress inks. As it is for a boy I kept the card really simple (and I only had half hour to put this together) and just added a bit of hessian, twine and brads.
A bit of a close up for you, just shows I am quite happy with the colouring of this one lol.

Heres the inside where I continued with the brads and hessian theme and of course Rik's car.

Challenge 60 - Black Hair

Same image but coloured in with Copics this time and a bit of flowersoft for the grass.
Sentiment and footballs are from the same set. Added some Blue Denim Distress inks around the edges for a bit of contrast, but all in all kept it quite plain which I think works ok.

Ooops

This little cutie was downloaded from Hiedi and coloured with my Copics.
I coloured the brads with Copics to match the papers The dragonfly which I cut using a spellbinders die cut, from parchment paper was also coloured with copics and the wings were then sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist. Unfortunately it doesnt show up very well but IRL the dragonfly really glistens.
Papers were from my Costco Collection and Ric Rac pinched from Big Sis.

Feather Blending - Shabby Chic

The challenge for Copic Creations
is Feather Blending.
This is an amazing technique which the DT made look fabulous, well this is my 100th try well ok slight exageration aty least my 6th.

I think I have finally got the effect on the dress right cept find I cant stay in the lines:-( so had to cut my lady off of her background.

This is also for the Fab and Funky which is Shabby Chic.

The image is a freebie from Hiedi who has gorgeous vintage images for you to download.
Papers are from K & Co. Classic double sided, which I tore and distressed with faded Jeans, peeled paint and vintage photo distress inks.
Flower I made using the same papers, gesso and pearl glimmer mist, tassles were white which I coloured with the copics the same colour as the dress.

4 in 1

Thhis card fits into four challenges the first being Friday Sketchers which is a fab sketch by Jacque. I have used the colour combination of Pink, Burgundy and Green with added Lace for the Creatalicious Challenge. I coloured the image with Copics and added some shading with a white Derwent Pencil and Blender which fits in with the Copic Creations" challenge and lastly the challenge for The Secret Crafter is One for The Girls. Well I do know my boys wouldn't appreciate this one at all so I guess it fits.

Favourite Colours

The challenge at Copic Creations this time is simply your favourite colours. I found that really hard to decide so I cheated and used yellows and blues because I find them the easiest to use at the moment.

I have used one of Mo Manning's fabulous digi images Mummu on her bike.

The papers are from DCWV The Garden Party Stack and flowers were from stash.
