2 DP's 1 Ribbon and 3 Buttons

3 Buttons 2 Designer Papers and 1 Ribbon is the recipe for the challenge at
Cupcake Craft Challenges this week.
I have used this cute little Gurlee Girl image Cammy, which was a
prize sponsored by the incredibly talented Chelsea Dang, this is the link to her blog - definetly recommend you take a look at the fab layouts Chelsea makes.

Well I hope to those that it applies that you have had a great Bank Holiday and aren't too disappointed if you have to go back to work tomorrow.

Thank You, No rubber Faries and Wings and Words

I am also going to enter this card into the Lots to do challenge which is words this week and the Allsorts challenge which is not to use rubber stamps.

I decided to make a push me pull you card for this weeks challenge over at Cute Daisy May which this week is a Thank You card or something.

I have used another little fairy which is from sheet 82.
I printed her out on pearlescent paper to give her a bit of a sheen and decoupaged her for the front of the card. I put a single image on one side of the pull me and text on the other which I did on the computer.
I coloured her in copics and used Shimmerz on her wings and added Sakura Gel pen and glitter pen to the flowers in her hair.
I haven't used any DP's as I wanted all the focus to remain on the image.

The challenge for Papertake Weekly
is faries and wings so I am going to enter this one there too.

GDT Card for It's a Crafter's Companion Tina's sketch

Wow it's challenge 5 already over at It's a Crafters Companion
For those who haven't visited there, this is a new fortnightly challenge site specifically for Crafters Companion products.
I was amazed when I started looking just how many Crafter's Companion products I have such as Cute Companions stamps and CD's (Never got the summer stories set, but will remedy that in the future),Spray and Sparkle, Popcorn the Bear, Flower Faries ........ the list goes on!
I bet there is loads of you out there that have got something by them, if so pop over and have a go at this weeks challenge.

Tina would like you to use a blue theme.
The image is a download from Pink Petticoat, which I have used to show that it doesn't have to be all CC products).I have used backing papers from the Crafters Companion Everyday CD, which really go together nicely - I do love not having to think to hard about what to put with what lol.

Apologies for the bad picture but I kept getting bounce back from the greetings label and this was the best of a bad bunch.

Hoping to see lots of you joining in this week

Challenge 28

The colours for the Copic Colour Challenge this week are BG23 Coral Sea, E47 Dark Brown, and R85 Rose Red.
I have used BG23 and then the closest colours I had which was E57 and R46 on the last of the Sugar Nellie Autumn images that I had to ink up along with the little hedgehog.
I have used a piece of My Minds Eye paper from the Bloom and Grow set. The leaves I stamped and water coloured with Sakura glitter pens, I also edged the matting like that. Flowers are Petaloo and brads came from Donna.

Sketch 66

I am still working my way through the new Autumn collection by Sugar Nellie (I made that sound like it was a chore which it so isn't lol) and have used the sketch from Sketch Saturday for this one.
As per I have coloured her in copics an monted her with nesties which I have distressed with Peeled Paint distress inks (that is such a useful colour).
The flowers are from Hero Arts and I have coloured them with copics to match.
The papers are from K & Co classic collection.

Sonja's Sketch

Just finished this card before bed - I have used the sketch by Sonja at
A Spoonful of Sugar.

Image is a Sugar Nellie from the Autumn Collection. Papers are Wild Asparagus by My Minds Eye.

Gonna admit though that I really dont like this card - I think it is a bit on the dull side although individually I love all the elements, guess that means I am just gonna have to do another, but not tonight.

Sleep tight all

Kathy's Sketch

Another great sketch to follow at The Sugar Bowl this week.
I have used one of the stamps from the new fall collection I dont normally choose to make boy's cards but I just loved this little lad and the way he's looking at the leaf - he obviously knows the minute he walks away its gonna fall!

I have coloured him in copics, the DP's are Earths Palette from Hot Off the Press embelishments are also Hot Off the Press from the Masculine set.

I used a digi image by Mo Manning, I just love these mice, they have so much personality.
I have coloured them with copics. I printed the papers a couple of weeks ago and duh I cant remember where there from!!!!! I used a punch and glitter for the snowflakes and the metal snowflake was given to me by Donna.
Hope you like.

Pink and Grey, challenge 25

Wow I did not think I was going to get a card made for the Stampin for the Weekend> challenge and it is a colour combo this week that I love Pink and Grey. I decided to go all girly which is so out of my comfort zone it is unreal. But I saw these cute images on DawnyP's blog and thought I had to give them a go. She is one of the Frillie Millies from Pink Petticoat.

I have coloured her with Copics choosing the colours was dead easy LOL. I have added glamour dust to her skirt and hairpiece.

The sketch is from Creative Card Crew and fitted in lovely with the image.
The papers are downloads from Funky Faries, flowers are from stash and I have added some shimmerz to them.

The photo is not very clear as I have printed everything onto pearlescent paper I love the shimmer effect that you get IRL but tends to play havoc with my camera.

Beccy

It just gets better

I can finally let you all in on a secret, which I have had to keep for what seems like for ever (I think really it was possibly a week LOL), but I have been chosen to join the Cute Daisy May design team for 3 months starting in September.
How Cool is that!

I had to keep it secret and I must say that was soo hard cos I was fit to burst with excitement.
But I managed it and to celebrate I am going to add an item or two to my candy - but it will be a suprise. So dont forget to leave a comment for me on my candy post.

Something for Dad

I got this fabulous digi image of a Wizard trying to read from Mo Mannings store Mo's Digital Pencil and thought it would be perfect for Bizzy Bec's first challenge at Creatalicious Challenges
which is Something for Dad and must include the colour brown and something metal.
I have coloured the image with copics with some distress inks for the background and added some glamour dust for the Wisps that are buzzing around his head disturbing his reading. (I reckon they have got to be as annoying a blue bottles buzzing around your head lol). Papers are Hot Off The Press Boys to Men the raffia was from Nikki.
For my metal I have used a couple of brads which I received from the lovely Claudia Rose.

One of these days I am going to work out how to take the date off of my camera too!!!!!!!!!! At the moment it is covering up my DAD bubbles, which you can just make out if you enlarge the image.

Sketch 65

Its Sketch 65 over at
SketchSaturday and this is my take on the sketch - I have used another of those gorgeous Victoria Case stamps from SCACD.
I have used a mixture of distress inks, Copics and Sakura glitter pens to colour the image.
Flowers are petaloo which I coloured with glitter pens and I have added loads of gems for a bit of bling so I am also going to enter this into the Papertake Weekly Challenge which is a choice of their past challenges to celebrate their 100th Challenge.

OMG how dozy am I when I picked out this stamp this morning it was to enter the CuteCardThursday challenge which this week is Lazy Dayz and I thought this kinda fit the bill.

The Word Is, Christmas In August

Sorry photos are really not too good today!
This card is for two challenges.
For the "CuteDaisyMay challenge the theme is 'The Word Is' not sure if this counts but the words of the poem are definetly the main focal point of the tags! and the theme is 'Christmas in August' over at
CreativeCardCrew.
I have used this gorgeous download digi image from MoManning. Which then put me in mind of the famous poem Twas the night before christmas.
As the poem is 14 verses long I decided to make a tag book card.
The tags are digi papers from BearlyMineDesigns and the DP s from Extreme Designer Vol 1.
Ribbon and flowers are from stash and the tree charm is from BunnyZoesCrafts

Thanks for taking the time to look and dont forget to check out my candy.

Have a great Sunday

Days Gone By, Week 14

The theme at Stampin for the Weekend is Days Gone By and they want to see your card distressed or a fab new description vintage-ized.
Well I so had to use one of the new Elizabeth Bell stamps that are exclusive to SCACD the one I chose is Susan.
I coloured her with copics and mounted her on pearlescent paper which I cut with my nesties. The papers are from K & Company Classic K stack. I distressed the edges of the papers with scissors and used Faded Jeans distress inks on them.
The flowers are Petaloo and the roses are from my stash. I coloured the flowers with Light Candle Shimmerz which I received from the lovely Claudia Rosa 'thanks sweetie' I havent used Shimmerz before and I just love the effect. Gonna have to get me some more colours.

I am also entering this in the
Allsorts Challenge which is 'In an English Country Garden' this week.

Thanks for stopping by and dont forget to check out my candy.

Copic Creations

Just thought I would show you these two cards that I made after following the tutorials on Copic Creations for brunette hair. If you love your copics or just want a few hints its well worth popping over there.

Challenge 3

A sketch by Jane is this fotnights challenge on Its a Crafters Companion. With the addition of sparkle and gems. I have only just got this done in time as a new challenge starts tomorrow - hope lots of you join in as I am a guest designer Yay.

I chose to do another christmas card as can never seem to make enough. I have used stamps from the Cute Companions glad Tidings Set. Now will admit to having ad a few disasters with this card - First I printed the lampost and then masked it and stamped the mice - duh the mice are now behind the lamp post, instead of the front - never mind I carried on put the whole card together and realised I hadnt glittered the fur trims- oops my lovely designer paper which are from the Extreme Designer Vol 1 disc from Bearly Mine Designs (who by the way have a sale on this week)and printed onto glossy paper is tacky so the glitter stuck to the whole card. Well it definetly has sparkle now lol.

The gems and stars are swavorski crystals they are also on the large icicles but not sure if you can make them out.

Well thats my lot for now got to go do some housework YUK

Have a great day watever your up to.

Friday Sketchers 65

This is my entry for Friday Sketchers http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ which is a sketch by Beatrix this week.

Whilst I was away I received my long awaited delivery from Susana's Custom Art and card Design in America (actually it wasnt that long I was just impatient for the stamps to arrive lol). http://www.susanascustomartandcarddesign.com/index.php Hopefully this link will work to take you there. Susana has some fab stamps including some exclusive Elisabeth Bell stamps, well worth logging on and having a browse and by the way she is such a lovely person to deal with.

Anyway this little cutie is from the Victoria Case Hearts & Hugs collection I admit to shuffling these designs to pick the first one to ink as they are all so gorgeous I couldnt just choose! Oh for another 6 hours in a day when Im not at work lol. I coloured her with copics. The papers are all from My Minds Eye Bloom & Grow as are the buttons and fibres. I added another chipmunk to the inside for a bit of interest and the flower is from Crafter's Companion Flower Fairy's Zinnia set which I watercoloured.

I am also going to enter this enter in to the Copic Colour Challenge. http://copicscolourchallenge.blogspot.com/
These are the colours for the Copic Colour Challenge this week and I have used G99 - This was quite a challenge for me as I do find shading with the dark colours really difficult.

2 more

No challenges for these 2 but couldnt resist showing you them cause I think they are both sooo cute. These are two more of the animal downloads from Charmed Cards and Gifts.

Challenge 62

Another of my mens cards again an image from Lily-Boos Boutique, I just love the expression on his face, I havent added a sentiment yet as brain is not wanting to work and I havent thought of anything witty to put on it.

Papers are just ones I have had laying around.

I followed the sketch at Sketch Saturday
http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/, which was done by Sandra Dry as I thought this worked well for a mans card.

Sketch 62 Caryn's Sketch

I spent most of yesterday colouring images, trying to take my mind of this stupid swine flu that just does not seem to want to go away, so today I have been busy trying to get them all onto cards ready for a craft show in a couple of weeks. (I am assuming i will have got over tis by then lol).

So I have been scouting around for some challenges to put them in - Caryn has done a terrific sketch this week for A spoonful of Sugar http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/. and worked quite well for an image from Charmed Cards and Gifts.
I coloured him in copics, papers are Basic Grey Porcelain Pad, flowers are petaloo and the cat button I have had for ages and forgotton about, I just love the way he is looking down at that scruffy dog as if asking what is it?

Inside Out

This little lady is Dottie pretending to be a butterfly from Charmed Cards and Crafts.
She is the perfect image for the challenge on Stamptacular Sunday.

http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/ which is inside out. I quite often do the inside of my cards so this should have been a breeze, but I have only just managed it. I am still using really bright Papers which are from Kars. The flowers I have cut out from the papers and stuck with silicone for a bit of texture. Dottie I have coloured with Copics.
