Wedding Days

A friend asked me to make 2 wedding Cards which seems very fitting for all the wedding fever in good old Blighty at the moment but No they are not for Will and Kate lol.

I used my Craft Robo to cut out the Petal Cards (which reminds me do any of you guys have the new ecraft personal cutter and know wether you can plot and cut your own images?)

The stamp I have had for ages not sure where from, it was on a wooden block but I took it off due to lack of space (or maybe thats too much stuff lol). Stamped with Clear Stamp Pad and embossed with Ultra fine Silver embossing powder. Mounted on mat from Spellbinders die

The flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, leaves and pearls I have had for ever too.

Those gorgeous hearts were from a cake shop that had a closing sale, so I stocked up. The inside of the other card is similar just with a different type of paper.

Make I Crafty DT - 3D Creations 'Anything but a Card'

There's a new challenge starting today at Make It Crafty and we would like to see "Anything but a Card", so what better excuse for me that make a start on some boxes for the little extra pressies for my family.
This first twist top box is for my DIL and I have used Sitting Sapphire a great little digi which you can get from Make It Crafty. I love the face on this little fairy. She has been coloured with Copics and had Stickles on her wings.  The flowers are by Prima and I have coloured them with Shimmers. The aperture was made with a Spellbinders Labels Die in my NEW Grand Calibut, this was so much easier to do in the Calibur as it takes A4 size paper, so I didnt get any creases where I didnt want them.
This next box is for my Grandson and I have used one of the great Santa images available at Make it Crafty this one is Cheeky Santa.
The border is from a Sissix Die and the lettering is Tim Holts

OH well two down, only another 6 to go and then they will be ready to fill with some of their favourite things!

Pop on over to the rest of the DT blogs where you will get loads more inspiration.

Today I want to share with you a card I made using the Check Fairy.

I just love this little cutie she is so versatile and easy to colour LOL. Today she is living in Fantasy Land and I do hope the weather is better there (It's another miserable Summers day here in London, no sun in sight!).
These gorgeous papers are from Raspberry Road Designs. I printed the papers onto glossy paper to give them their best effect and coloured Check Fairy with Copics and Shimmerz for her wings I then covered all of her in Glossy Accents. This made the Shimmerz crack on the wings but I have left it cos its made a great effect.

I just couldnt resist using more of these lovely papers so made this an Easel card. I punched Check Fairy and made a stop with her for the easel.

Quick look at the bottom papers in full, arent they just fabby, so am going to have to make some more fairy cards to use the rest of these papers!

Anyhoo I think I have probably held you up for long enough now so you need to be on your way to Claire of Claire's Crafty Creations Next. Don't forget to leave some love in order to win the prizes!

3 this time

I followed the sketch from Fab n Funky
the image is from Bidlamarna.

I made this as an easel card cos I want to do some calenders on the cards for the girls at work - working for a typical council that are trying to save money everywhere we are all now Hotdesking - snobby way of saying if you dont get in early you dont get to sit down - this means we cant leave anything on desks so no-one ever has a calender, hopefully as these are quite small they can be moved and stored easily.
this card also fits into the Spoonful of
Sugar Challenge
Non traditional christmas colours and Cute
Card Thursday
Swirly Girly.

Thanks for looking

Sonja's Sketch

Just finished this card before bed - I have used the sketch by Sonja at
A Spoonful of Sugar.

Image is a Sugar Nellie from the Autumn Collection. Papers are Wild Asparagus by My Minds Eye.

Gonna admit though that I really dont like this card - I think it is a bit on the dull side although individually I love all the elements, guess that means I am just gonna have to do another, but not tonight.

Sleep tight all

Sketch 62 Caryn's Sketch

I spent most of yesterday colouring images, trying to take my mind of this stupid swine flu that just does not seem to want to go away, so today I have been busy trying to get them all onto cards ready for a craft show in a couple of weeks. (I am assuming i will have got over tis by then lol).

So I have been scouting around for some challenges to put them in - Caryn has done a terrific sketch this week for A spoonful of Sugar http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/. and worked quite well for an image from Charmed Cards and Gifts.
I coloured him in copics, papers are Basic Grey Porcelain Pad, flowers are petaloo and the cat button I have had for ages and forgotton about, I just love the way he is looking down at that scruffy dog as if asking what is it?

xmas

I couldnt resist these Cute Daisy May xmas images. They have both been coloured with copics, and for their fur and the muff I used fluffy stuff and sprinkled extra fine glitter on whilst it was wet. I also highlighted the lampost with fluffy stuff and glitter.
The papers are from last year and are by Kanban. The charms are from Bunny-Zoes shop. Flowers are from Petaloo and I have addes stickles to them and coloured the brads with copics. The Icicles are punches which I punched, coloured with very pale copics and then glittered.
I am going to enter the red card into the Cute Daisy May Challenge which is a sketch this week, which I have turned a little. http://cutedaisymay.blogspot.com/
Ihave just realised the green card as it has swirls on the paper also fits into a challenge - over on A Spoonful of Sugar http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ the challenge is to use swirls in any form.

The Inside Counts, Debbie's Sketch

Haven't made much this week as havent been feeling to great - this offering has taken me two nights to make. Still hubby bought me some more copic pens to add to my collection yesterday so that cheered me up loads. (Only another 80 to go!).

The challenge on the Cuttlebug spot http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/this week is The Inside Counts, and over at A Spoonful of Sugar http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/there is a lovely sketch by Debbie.
I have used a Sarah Kay image, which I coloured with copics. Papers are from Hot Off The Press. Swirls were cut with my Cuttlebug and I used Labels 1 Nesties. Flowers are from the Range which are held together with brads which I coloured with copic pen. The little gems on the front are from my little Indian shop and are really unusual as they change colour in the light.
I carried on the theme on the inside.

3 challenges in 1

Being as I havent had a lot of time this week, this card is gong to be used for three challenges.
The first is Friday Sketchers, which is a sketch by Claudia Rose. Second is the Copic Colour Challenge which this week is E47 Dark Brown, YG 23 New Leaf and YR68 Orange I have definetely used plenty of orange, the New Leaf green is on the flower and there is brown in her hair. And thirdly the challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar is Summer, well I think the images are really summery.

I have used Bildmalarna Stamps, which I got from Nikki at Bunny Zoe's Crafts, Tosse Flower and Tossa Flower.

They have both been coloured with copics. The gorgeous ladybird charm on the front is from Kimmi at Poppy Petal Designs.

Flowers are from stash and the Ladybird on the inside is a paperchase pin which I cut the pin bit off of.
I managed to restrain myself on this card and used pearlescent papers that I have had for ages rather than print more.
